Northland recorded a 13-10 win over Rewa at Gatward Park, Korovou, yesterday.
What happened:
The visitors took an early 5-0 lead with a try to Vaula Vauliasi.
Northland took time to settle down and in the 12th minute registered their first points from an Apenisa Deve penalty as they trailed 5-3.
Backed by the vocal supporters, Northland upped the tempo and ran in two quick tries. The first try was scored in the 21st minute to Osea Raseru before Vito Wairakia scored the second try.
Halftime: Northland 13-5 Rewa
In the second half, Rewa dominated player and managed to score their second try to Kinijioji Taukei.
