Taitusi Lulusinu will start at halfback when the Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors take on the Manuma Samoa for the second time in two weeks at the HFC Bank Stadium tomorrow.

This was after Simione Kuruvoli was ruled out due to injury.

The former Cuvu College student was a football player during his primary school days.

He only played rugby in 2017 in the Under 18 Deans and debuted for Nadroga in 2020.

The Rukurukulevu, Nadroga native is also under the Fiji Rugby Union High Performance Unit programme. He shares maternal links to Nasegai, Kadavu.

“Being in the HPU programme is a great environment of learning; it is another level compared to the clubs,” Lulusinu said.

“I have been learning from teammates as well as Kuruvoli at halfback. “

“I play fullback but switched to halfback when I came into the HPU programme.”

“I have learnt more on the specific passing for my position and importance of decision making on the field.”

“I hope to secure a Drua contract or something similar.”

Head coach Kele Leawere made four changes to his starting 15 in their second game of the Fiji Rugby Invitational series decider.

Raikabula Momoedonu will start at flanker with Joji Kunavula.

Suva winger Kini Vosailagi will also start for his first game for the Warriors while Tevita Mociu plays fullback.

New on the bench are forwards Aisake Atani and Emmanuel Manu while Suva halfback Jonathan Sovasova and Erami Baca are substitutes for the backs.

The Fijian Warriors take on Manuma Samoa at 3pm, the gates open at 10am.

The Weet-Bix Ravule Under- 16 semifinals start at 11am with Naitasiri Secondary School against Dudley High School. In the second game, Nasinu Secondary School takes on Suva Grammar School at 1pm.
