Suva first five eight Enele Malele kicked 13 points in the 28-21 victory over Lautoka Maroons in the round two of the Skipper Cup clash at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
Skipper Malele led by example as he slotted three penalties and two conversions.
Towards the end of the first half tempers flared between the players representing the two cities, this saw John Stewart flashed a red card.
The Blues led 6-0 at the break.
The prep talk in the second half opened the flood gates Suva number eight Mosese Naiova who scored under the post.
Winger Iosefo Namoce and Inia Tawalo scored a try each before the host scored three tries to Freddy Ralulu and winger Kelemeni Navucu (2).
First five eight Netava Nayacalevu kicked through three conversions.
