Marama Champs Next For Cakaudrove

The Cakaudrove women’s rugby team is on a mission to win the Royal Tea Ranadi Cup.
Standing on their way is Kadavu as they clash in today’s final at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
According to Cakaudrove women’s rugby head coach Ana Seru, this is the first time for the team to reach this far in the competition.
The side has been through a challenging journey where they edged past Ba 24-23 in the quarterfinal and beat Vatukoula 27-22 after trailing 17-10 for most of their semi-final clash.
Their opponents Kadavu is in top form after thrashing Tavua 60-0 in the quarters and Macuata 40-18 in the semifinal.
Cakaudrove women’s rugby assistant coach Josese Kalawaci told SUNsports that their goal to win the Ranadi Cup in still alive.

He said they want to be promoted to next year’s ANZ Marama Championship.
