Marika Koroibete Honoured By World Rugby

Fijian-born Wallabies winger Marika Koroibete was hon­oured during the World Rug­by awards night.

He was selected on the wing along­side Will Jordan in the Men’s Team of the Year.

The 30-year-old played nine games for the Wallabies in 2022, highlight­ed by his incredible performance in Adelaide to help guide Dave Rennie’s men to victory over the Springboks.

Rugby Australia chief executive officer Andy Marinos told Rugby.com.au: “Marika has become one of our best players for the Wallabies.

“While he’s a quiet and unassum­ing man, you can be sure he will be leading by example from the wing every match.”
