Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) and Namosi Secondary School (NSS) aim to defend the Suva Zone One girls and boys titles when competition resumes at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva, this morning.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, MGM head coach Waliki Satakala said preparation for their athletes had started soon after last year’s Coca-Cola Games.
“We are trying to defend the girl’s title and also maybe move up in the boy’s division,” he said.
The MGM athletics team consisted of multi-athlete students who also play rugby league (boys) and netball (girls).
