Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team is no easy beat. They never have unless you take the game to them, says USA head coach Mike Friday.
“We made sure we are at our best and take the game to the Fijians,” he said after the Eagles thumped Fiji 40-14 in the 5th place game.

He said beating the reigning World Rugby Sevens Series champions, the players had to break every bit of the sweat.
“Fijians just make you bring out the best in you because if you don’t, guaranteed you’ll be get beat bad.
“You don’t want Fijians to get on you, you need to be on them and play smart, that’s what got us the game.
“Our game plan was to build phases, keep the ball and try and tire them out,” Friday said.
