The Nadroga rugby team is on a mission to win the Skipper Cup and the INKK Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy at the end of the season.

Speaking to SUNsports last Saturday, Nadroga co-coach Sireli Bobo said they were not satisfied despite the 39-16 win over Tailevu at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

“We are not content until we get the two trophies back,” Bobo, who last week received his World Rug-by Level 3 coaching accreditation, said.

Suva is currently the Skipper Cup champions while Nadi holds the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy.

Nadroga co-coach Aca Ratuva said the focus now is on Saturday’s Skipper Cup showdown against the unbeaten Suva side.

“We have a good team. Suva is not a new team; they are known for their forward play and their backline,” the former Flying Fiji-ans flanker said.

“We are looking at all teams in this Skipper Cup competition as a challenge and we will not take them lightly.”

Ratuva said they had a hard tus-sle against Tailevu.

“We made a few mistakes during the game, we’ll go back and work on it (before the Suva match),” he said.

Bustling Nadroga No.8 and Fijian Drua development player, Jioji Kunavula, said that it was a tough battle, but they were able to come out with the win.

“We will go back, work on our mistakes and leave no stones unturned for the match against Suva,” Kunavula said.

“We have a goal and we are here to achieve it.”

Also playing for Nadroga, was Drua centre Michael Naitokani who said the Skipper Cup game has changed and is now more com-petitive.

“We look forward to the next challenge,” Naitokani added.
