Nagatalevu Keeps Hopes Alive

The Penaia Nagatalevu captained Tavua College side is the team to beat in the 64th Digicel Fiji Secondary School Under-17 championship.
Nagatalevu, an U17 national rep scored a goal in their 2-0 win over Nadogo College at the Churchill Park in Lautoka yesterday.
He did not mince his words as they set on track to retain the age group title.
Nagatalevu said: “It was a good game, we have a good band of boys who have been playing together since the 2019 final where we defeated Xavier College 1-0. We won’t rest on our laurels.”
The championship was not played the last two years due to the global pandemic, Coronavirus.
“We have had to play more set pieces; our attacks have been good with a few other small things here and there to fix.”
