The Iliesa Gaunavinaka captained- Naitasiri Secondary School beat Nasinu Secondary School 20-16 in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Under-19 semi-final at  Prince Charles Park, Nadi, today.

Both side played a well-structured game with ball on hand.

"It was a good game and we had expected it to be tough all through out," Gaunavinaka said.

"Our aim is to be in the final once again as we lost to RKS (Ratu Kadavulevu School) in the final last year. We have a good group of boys who had played last year."

In the other semi-final, Ra High School had only themselves to blame as they narrowly lost 16-14 to Ba Provincial Freebird Institute in a torrid clash.

Two Ra High School players were sent off for dangerous play. Ba Pro who had won the title previously, remained calm during those heated moments and focused on their game.

Ba Pro led 16-10 at the breather.

Ba Pro captain Bale Vetaukula said, they had to work on their discipline which was paramount for them.

"The side that committed less errors and discipline was to come out winners.

"We had lost to them in the Western semi-final 12-10, which was from our indiscipline so we worked on that and it did give us the win."
