Naitodua to Learn From Best in Tabadamu 7s

The Naitodua Under-21 team from Kaba Village in Taile-vu was out to gain exposure in the U21 Fiji Bitter Tabadamu Sevens at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, last weekend.
In pool play they beat Lakena Rugby 7-0 and Lami Cavaliers 21-0.
Speaking to SUNsports, Rupeni Taqir said their fine performance in the tournament was through divine intervention.
“We are thankful to the villagers of Kaba for their hospitality and support in our Tabadamu Sevens campaign,” he said.
“We are from Votua Village in Ba but representing Kaba Village in this tournament.”
Taqiri said the team’s comradery is their biggest strength in the field.
“We need to continue to play as a unit and avoid unnecessary mistakes in order to go through all the way to the final,” he said.
“This is the first time for Naitodua to play in the Tabadamu tournament.”
“This win is dedicated to my parents back in Votua.
“After this tournament, Most of us will be looking for work locally and even some could be going overseas.”
