Naivalu Turns His Focus To Schoolwork

Studying and doing his external exams well is next for 2022 Vodafone Super Deans Trophy winning captain, Benjamin Naivalu.

Speaking during the Marist Brothers High School celebration in Suva, today, Naivalu told SUNsports that he and his team-mates want to move mountains when it comes to education.

“We are proud to have ended the 44-year drought and created history for our school but it’s not the end of the road,” he said.

“Sports over now but our next mission and for me personally is to pass my examination and get into university.

“I’m sure the rest of my team-mates also have the same goal because we want to fall back to something after rugby.

“It’s education for me now, before I make any move in rugby.”
