Nestle Fiji has joined the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Vuvale (family). Nestle Fiji general manager Tim Inkster said the sponsorship would allow fans to win great prizes the next two months.

“This feels like a marriage made in heaven for two big brands,” Inkster said.

“The promotion starts now right to May 29 or until stocks last whichever occurs first.

“Both brands are loved by Fijians all over the country.”

He said 800,000 cards have been distributed.

“That means 800,000 opportunities for our brand and players to enter kitchens across Fiji. Collecting card promotion will run with our Maggi five pack chicken noodles product in all major supermarkets nationwide.

“They are already in supermarkets now and the competition runs through to the end of May, right to the end of the home and away season.

“Shoppers will get the opportunity to collect one of 30 available cards in every pack.

“There are 30 cards in total to collect, they include both the Fijian and Fijiana Drua. There are 12 Fijiana Drua and 18 Fijian Drua cards to collect. There will be five lucky shoppers who, if they find the golden card in these packs they will instantly win a signed Fijian Drua jersey.

“There are only five jerseys to be won so get out there and get a pack of noodles.”

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua chief executive officer, Brian Thorburn, welcomes Nestle’s inclusion.

“The Drua has been fortunate

enough to have drawn in very significant sponsorship support from a range of companies,” he said.

“You can’t get more global than the Nestle Group in Fiji you can’t go without Maggi noodles.

“It is one of the top selling items, it is on every Fijian family’s weekly grocery list and should be popular the next six weeks.

“We are proud to welcome Maggi and Nestle to our sponsor vuvale.”
