The Vodafone Fijian football team welcomed their new goalkeeper coach Xavier Henneuse on Friday.
The French national held his first training session with the goalkeepers while the assistant coaches continued with their work with head coach Christophe Gamel.
Labasa football coach Bal Sanju Reddy said it’s good to be back helping the national team prepare for the Philippines tour.
“I feel proud to be associated with the national team,’ Reddy said. “This is nothing new to me I have been here with the national team in 2011. As far as the Philippines tour is concerned, it a good opportunity for Fiji to progress into the international scene.”
The team depart on Thursday and play the Philippines national team in Manila on March 22.
