New Winner At Muslim ‘21 IDC

A new winner will be crowned at the 2021 Digicel FMSA Muslim Interdistrict Championship at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, today.

This was after Mohammed Fazil Hussein scored the winner for Labasa against defending champions Maigania 1-0 in extra spell.

It was a tough encounter as both teams were scoreless at fulltime.

Team manager Mohammed Idris said two games are left for us to play, semifinal and final.

“We were confident and the boys played to plan,” he said.

In the other quarterfinal Rehan Nur scored the winner for Navua against Varavu.

Navua had the services of Zainal Ali, Mosese Balenaqaqa and veteran Nasir Hussein.

Results: Ba 1–0 Nadi, Nasinu 0– 1 Lautoka, Maigania 1–1 Varavu, Makoi 3–2 Sabeto, Nasinu 1–0 Navua, Lautoka 0–3 Labasa.
