Niuboto Retain Tiliva 7s Cup

Kadavu provincial side Niubuto retained the Silverwaters Tiliva 7s Cup after edging out Uluinakau Babas 12-10 at Tiliva District School ground in Kadavu on Friday.
Earlier on Niubuto beat Ulunikoro 17-5 in the first semi-final while Uluinakau Babas took out Police 14-7 in the other semi-final. Niuboto won $5000 while Uluinakau Babas settled for $2600.

Police finished in third place as they beat Ulunikoro 5-0 in the 3rd/4th playoffs. The men- in-blues won $1200 while Ulunikoro settled for $1000. Navuso won the Bowl final after defeating Nakasaleka 7-5.
BULIYA WIN NETBALL
The Buliya netball team won the inaugural netball competition after pipping Naiqoro 9-8 in the Cup final.
All visiting teams returned to Suva last night.
