Nute Makes Changes for Tailevu Clash

Elusive utility back Sakiusa Siqila has been included in the starting line-up of defending Skipper Cup champions Suva when they face Tailevu at the Nakelo District School ground, tomorrow.

Suva head coach Solo Nute has been impressed with Siqila’s form since he is a member of the Fiji men’s rugby sevens training squad. The Capital City will be without nippy halfback Terio Tamani who is representing Fiji at the Singapore Sevens.

Nute has boosted his side in their final Skipper Cup match by including Fijian Warriors reps of John Muller, Paula Dolokoto and Johnathan Sovasova in their Match 23 squad.

Also, playing at centre is hard running Tira Wilagi who also represented Fiji at the HSBC SVNS.

He takes over from John Stewart.

Former Fiji men’s rugby sevens playmaker Livai Ikanikoda starts at No.10 while Nute has rested captain, Enele Malele.

Also playing at blindside flanker is Fijian Drua development player Isoa Tuwai while former Drua captain Nemani Nagusa is back at his No.8 position.

The Skipper Cup Under-20 clash gets underway at 1pm followed by the seniors at 3pm.
