Perform Or Out: Seruvakula
“If they do not perform, we are camping again on Monday next week and those who will not perform will be replaced. Because here you have to perform and lift your hand all the time to that level that we want.”

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 15s preparation for next year’s Women’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand is on track.
Head coach Senirusi Seruvakula is looking at bringing in more than 25 overseas players in the squad to join the 30 local-based players. He indicated these overseas players have been playing competitively while the local women had no game time the past six months due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
“First we are getting them to this environment to train,” Seruvakula said yesterday.
“There will be a stage where we will cut the squad but not this year. Not anytime soon. We are trying to get them to bring their skill level, for them to be fit and understand our game situation.
“The fitness is there as their strength and conditioning coaches have been giving them their programmes, which they had been doing it.
“There are more than 25 overseas players. We have been on zoom calls and monitoring their training.”
Meanwhile, Emily Taylor, a Year 11 student, is the youngest member of the squad who was identified at a 10s tournament in Labasa.
“If they do not perform, we are camping again on Monday next week and those who will not perform will be replaced. Because here you have to perform and lift your hand all the time to that level that we want.”
