The founder of the Hillview Volleyball club David Hesaie was laid to rest in Suva yesterday.

Close friends and families turned up in numbers to farewell David during his Mass of Resurrection at the Saint Peter Chanel Community, Immaculate Conception Parish, Delainavesi Lami.

Known to be a pillar and the backbone of the famous volleyball club, Hesaie was called to eternal rest on Tuesday last week after a short illness.

Hesaie died at the age of 41 and is survived by his wife Candice and son Israel Hesaie.

During the eulogy a close family friend commented on the many good services that Hesaie has done for his family, friend, the volleyball club, church and the community of Delainavesi and goes on to say that David will surely be missed by everyone.
