Pillay Third In Open Class B Category

Fijian Bodybuilder Jordan Pillay was placed third in the final of the Open class B category at the Los Angeles Championship in the Hilton Anaheim Convention Centre last Saturday.

“It was awesome, I had a great experience and I’m happy with the outcome. The package (balance of size, symmetry, and muscularity) was okay as I come in heavier and beat the package that I brought for the last show,” he said.

“First of all, I would like to thank my partner Jamie Lee Mitchell for being there with me the whole process and journey. I needed her help in certain areas, and she was there.”

While FMF was the major sponsor, his family and friends played a tremendous support.

“I’d also like to thank Sportsworld for sponsoring our merchandise and for now, I will shut off the season this year, “ he said.

Pillay would continue with his training and revise his diet for next year.

“Basically, what I did for this show, it’ll be two or three times more for the next preparation as I’ll be giving it more focus and more of everything, “he said.

He has set his sights on participating in his first pro-qualifier next year.

“The judges said I’m okay to go attend one, but it cannot be in America, it must be in another international country” he said.

“My aim is to succeed in the pro-qualifier next year to win the pro card which I know won’t be easy.

“It won’t be a walk in the park because competition is fierce.”
