Prime Minister Rabuka: Payback Time For Wallabies

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is committed to exploring all diplomatic channels to bring the Australian Wallabies to play a Test match against the Flying Fijians here.

As part of the Vuvale partnership, Rabuka, a former Flying Fijian prop, believes it is also only fitting for the Wallabies to play Test matches in Fiji.

Rabuka is aware of the Wallabies’ requests in 1952 and 1954, which led to two Tests that helped Rugby Australia avoid bankruptcy. The Flying Fijians sold out the stadium at the Sydney Cricket Ground for all four tests.
