Timoci Namotokula scored 12 points as Premier Loggings Ravoravo Rabbitohs ham­mered HBK Lami Steelers 38-4 in the round two of the Vodafone Cup Challenge at Nadovu Park, Lauto­ka yesterday.

He scored a try, kicked three con­versions and a penalty goal.

The Steelers took the lead through Osea Qaliwa to lead 4-0.

Jone Levi replied with the try which was converted by Sevaia Galala to lead 6-4. Namotokula in­creased the lead with a try and con­verted by Galala, 12-4.

Kitione Tikoduadua pulled one back for the Steelers to close the gap 12-8. Close to the breather Galala added another penalty 14-8.

In the second spell the Sitiveni Vuniyayawa-coached side extend­ed the lead as Seleti Cakau, Ulaiasi Kadrovi and Savenaca Saukuru scored a try each together with Waisiki Ramatau, Roger Qoro, Peniasi Senikarawa, Eddie To­muse and Aliposo Vuki.

Vuniyayawa was happy with the win but admitted laxity.

“We won but there is a lot to be done in our next game,” he said.

“The Steelers gave us a good game but our boys were sharp and I’m happy.
