Ratu Kadavulevu Shifts Focus To Rugby

With the 2022 Fiji Fiinals also known as the Coke Games done at the HFC Bank stadium on Saturday dethroned defending champions Ratu Kadavulevu School are not wasting their time licking their wounds.
They have shifted their focus onto the Fiji Secondary Schools Vodafone Deans Eastern Zone competition.
Members of the RKS athletics squad did not participate in the last round of rugby pool matches as they were prepared for the Coke Games title defense.
The Deilanakaikai boys failed to retain the boys’ division title. They finished third with six gold, five silver and nine bronze medals.
Suva Grammar School won the boys’ division with 11 gold, six silver and six bronze while Queen Victory School in second place with nine gold, five silver and seven bronze.
After Coke Games
Team captain and Under-18 flanker Ratu Vilikesa Roko Vonolagi said the teams will be back with rugby training as from this week.
“We will play against Lelean Memorial School this week,” Vonolagi said.
“We did not win the Coke Games so we will try to win the Deans trophy this year,” the Serea, Naitasiri native added.
He applauded the RKS athletes, old scholars, teachers, parents and coaches for their support and contribution at this year’s Coke Games.
“The Games was good. At least we took some gold medals to school,” he said.
“I want to thank the boys for their guts and spirit over the three days.
“As a big school, most schools look up to us but we only look up to Jesus.
“We will learn from this year’s Games and be better next year.”
