Expect the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua to bounce back from their loss to Waratahs to beat Western Force in Saturday’s Super W clash in Lautoka.

Head coach Mosese Rauluni said yesterday they were taught many good lessons from the 62-21 defeat to the Waratahs.“Probably, we played Waratahs, who is the form team of the competition but our girls’ spirits are still high,” the former Flying Fijians captain said.

“We’re looking forward to this weekend. Last week, we learned a few things about ourselves. The attitude has been nothing but outstanding so far.”

Rauluni said they would take something of that into the game, which is their final pool play match on Fiji soil.

“The Western Force is next, another good sign is that they beat the Reds on the weekend.

“They like to move the ball. We got to sharpen our defence and all areas of our game. You can’t sleep against this team.”

Rauluni said few changes are expected in the line-up, a few players with injuries have recovered, which is good along with a few positional changes.

“Some of the girls probably didn’t perform to their best and we must make changes to that.

“So, we’ve done that and hopefully, you know, they’ll perform too.

“We can’t keep chopping and changing the team too much. We’re going to get some rhythm. But on the weekend, you know, it was it was a tough lesson. We’ve got to be better than that going forward.”

Rauluni said there are no injuries on the team and the players are set to go.

“Everyone trained this week. We had a big contact session on Tuesday, which we need after the weekend.”

The match kicks-off at 3.35pm.
