RKS, Jack’s Revive Original Jersey Design
Ratu Kadavulevu School has gone back to revive its original rugby jersey design with the hope of winning this year’s Vodafone Deans Trophy.

Ratu Kadavulevu School has gone back to revive its original rugby jersey design with the hope of winning this year’s Vodafone Deans Trophy.
Jack’s of Fiji and Qaqa yesterday officially handed over to the RKS teachers and students, the jerseys to be worn by all their teams (Under-14 to U19) for the 2022 Deans Trophy challenge.
The event took play at Jack’s Pier Store in Suva.

Speaking to SUNsports, RKS principal Ilaisa Waqalala said bringing back the old design would boost the teams’ performance.
“Returning to the old design will lift the morale of the students, fans, old boys and all Stakeholders,” he said.
“We have our own culture in RKS and one of them is the jersey design and the colour.
They are very particular when it comes to the colour and the design.
“I requested the president of the RKSOB (Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Boys) if we can bring back the original design.
This is the original design and everyone was happy to see this design.
“I believe this will help our partners, fans and stakeholders to purchase their merchandise.”
“I believe these new set of jerseys with the original RKS colour and design will ignite the fire within the hearts and souls of the players and old boys.
“We the RKS family want to thank Jack’s of Fiji and Qaqa Sports for their continued support for the past three years.
“Jack’s of Fiji has reignited and help RKS bring back that culture.”
Jack’s of Fiji marketing and public relations officer Biu Veikautaki said, they would continue to support the school.
“Our partnership begun in 2018, a bond that created a lot of success.
Jack’s of Fiji and Qaqa reinstate our commitment to RKS for the 2022 sports season.
“We were the major sponsor for the school in both the Coca-Cola Games and Deans.
“We wish the RKS six rugby teams, the best of luck for the next few weeks starting with the elimination round of the Tailevu Zone followed by the national playoffs.”
