Rusila Nagasau: I Wasn’t Expecting It

Rusila Nagasau added another trophy on her trophy corner after being the first to win the Tattslotto Sportswoman of the Year award as a rugby player.
“I wasn’t expecting this, I just thank God for this talent, he has given me,” a surprised Nagasau, the Fiji Airways Fijiana sevens captain, said after receiving her award at the Vodafone Arena, Suva, on Saturday night.
It was a night dominated by rugby union as the sport collected seven of the 11 awards at the 2022 Fiji Sports Awards.
