Vodafone Young Male athlete of the year Vicky Wu aims for a spot at the 2019 Samoa Pacific Games from July 7-20.
The 14-year old was on cloud nine after receiving his award on Friday night at the FMF Gymnasium.
“I was surprise when they call my name as I was not really expecting it. But it feels good when your achievements are being recognised.

“I’m very happy and I want to thank Fiji Table Tennis for nominating me,” Wu said.
One of his memorable 2018 memories was playing at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and was the youngest athlete of the Team Fiji contingent.
He is a Year Nine student of Yat Sen Secondary School.
“That was my first Commonwealth Games, I did my best.
“Playing table tennis is fun and I want to dedicate my achievement to my parents and Fiji Table Tennis family.
“My aim now is to qualify for the Pacific Games,”he said. Winners:
