Samoa To Host Pacifc Challenge 2023

The Fijian Warriors are going to Sa­moa to play in this year’s World Rug­by Pacific Challenge.

The Fijian Warriors are going to Sa­moa to play in this year’s World Rug­by Pacific Challenge.

The competition will be played in Apia from May 3-13 and it’s the first internation­al tournament to be played in Samoa after 13 years. The Pacific Challenge returns for the first time since 2020.

The tournament is contested by the Fi­jian Warriors, Junior Japan, Tonga A and Manuma Samoa A.

The competition is funded by World Rug­by and had been hosted in Fiji for six con­secutive years (2015 to 2020)

The tournament will be played across three match days in a round-robin format with each team playing three matches.
