Boxer Sebastian ‘Sniper’ Singh is expecting a tough fight against Rakuro Daunivavana when they meet on April 13 for the Fiji super welterweight title in Lautoka.
Singh and Daunivavana have signed with the South Pacific Boxing Promotion at Tilak High School hall.
The Suva boxer says, he’s training hard for the fight and expects Daunivavana to be on his best game.

“Rakuro is going to come into the fight with a lot of fire power and will be hungry for a win.
“I don’t expect anything less from a boxer of his calibre,” Singh said.
“I felt I won the last fight (in Nadi) but Rakuro has been climbing up the ranks and has some overseas experience too so I have to bring my A-game.”
Singh has a professional record of 11 wins, 3 losses and a draw, while Daunivavana comes into the fight with 3 wins, 4 losses and 2 draws to his name.
“This fight means a lot to me because of what happened in Christchurch (attack on March 15). I’m dedicating it to all the victims.
“We’ve got a game plan and the best thing I can do is stick to it. Hopefully Rakuro doesn’t underestimate me just because of our last fight. If he has, then he’s in a lot of trouble.”
Both boxers come into the event having lost their last fights to overseas opponents.
Daunivavana suffered a fourth round knockout loss to Australia’s Kyron Dryden earlier this month while was knocked out the third round by New Zealand’s Bowyn Morgan.
