Sheraton Classics Pumps In $2M

The four-day Sheraton Classics 2023 golf tournament has the ca­pacity to generate about $2mil­lion to the Fijian economy, says Pacific Golf Management Limited director Richard Ellis.

The four-day Sheraton Classics 2023 golf tournament has the ca­pacity to generate about $2mil­lion to the Fijian economy, says Pacific Golf Management Limited director Richard Ellis.

“Pumping in $2m into the country is possible with the number of golfers coming from overseas, accommodation, meals, transport to mention a few,” El­lisa said.

“This tournament is going from strength to strength every year.

“Golfers would be here for over two weeks, and with them they bring their families and others. Being golfers they spend a lot at the big hotels, they go out into the community and spend as well.
