The Labasa women's football team started their preparations for the second consecutive appearance at the OFC Women's Champions League to be played in Honiara, Solomon Islands, this month.
Labasa captain Sofi Diyolowai said they aim to put up a better performance from their last outing.
“I know we’ve a short time in our preparation,” she said.
“There have been some new faces especially players coming from other districts or overseas.”
Labasa is drawn in Group B alongside New Zealand’s Auckland United FC, Tonga’s Veitongo FC, and the defending champions from New Caledonia, AS Academy Féminine.
They open their campaign against Auckland United FC on Monday, March 11, at 7pm at SIFF Academy ground.
