Ram Sami Suva made it three-in-a-row in winning the 2020 Skipper Cup Premiership title at the ANZ Stadium in Suva yesterday.

Suva beat Naitasiri 16-13.

Coach Sakaraia Labalaba said it had been a challenging 16 weeks.

“We believed that we could win from round one right up to the final,” Labalaba said.

“We created the environment, the system works and I thank the boys for their concerted effort throughout the season.”

Naitasiri led 7-5 at halftime.

Lutu, Wainibuka, native Seremaia Naureure apologised to the people of Naitasiri for coming up short.

“We could have done better and we look forward to 2021,” he said.

Naitasiri pocketed $15K while Suva received $30K for defending the title yet again.
