Soejima Here For Dad’s Birthday

Veteran Japan rugby 7s forward Kameli Soejima with his dad Eroni La­tianara during his 70th brithday celebration at Nasekula Village in Labasa, during the weekend.

Latianara played for Labasa in the 1980s during the Fiji Rugby Minor Union competition. He was also a former national rugby triallist. Latianara’s older brothers Emosi Tatawaqa and Meliki Baleicakau represented the national rugby team.
