Two of the three southern zone Fiji Secondary Schools rugby whose teams have all advanced to the semi-finals will be locking horns in the six grades this Saturday at the Suva Grammar School grounds.

Marist Brothers High School and Nasinu Secondary Schools feature against each other from the Under-14 grade up to the U19.

The other schools whose all six teams are also in the Southern zone semis is Suva Grammar School.

Meanwhile Southern schools secretary Inoke Ravouvou said that there was a possibility that the Southern zone Under-18 semi-finals would be redrawn following an issue against Gospel High School on Saturday.

GHS had beaten Sacred Heart College 20-7 but a complaint against one of their players has put the result on hold.

“Gospel is been given until this evening (yesterday) to appeal the decision; there is a possibility that a decision will be released tomorrow (today) morning,” Ravouvou said.

According to Ravouvou after this Saturday, Southern zone teams will once again be ranked before the national quarterfinal teams will be confirmed.

“The draw will be like the winner of Southern zone will meet the third ranked from the Eastern zone and so on,” he said.

In the Eastern zone giants Ratu Kadavulevu and Queen Victoria Schools also have all their grade teams cruising to the semis.

Taking into consideration the points they have been pilling against their opposition the national quarterfinals look set to dynamic rugby.

Macuata and Bua sub-zones held their finals on Saturday.
