A 30-member national team training squad was announced following the final of the Cricket Fiji Easter Championship.
The team will prepare for the East Asia Pacific World Cup qualifier in Vanuatu in September.
The players were selected from lastweek’s Easter Cup and Association Cup competitions.
Meanwhile Lakeba took home the Easter Cup on Monday after Moce gave them the win due to unplayable pitch.
The final was to have been held yesterday, however the Moce team management gave the win Lakeba in good faith.
RESULTS:
Third and fourth positions were shared by Nadi and Cicia due to the unplayable pitch
Plate final: Komo batted first and scored 126 runs with the fall of 9 wickets. Ono-i-Lau then batted and scored 128 runs with a fall of 7 wickets. Ono-i-Lau won by 3 wickets.
Bowl final: Oneata batted first and scored 116 runs with the fall of 9 wickets. CF Development then batted and scored 118 runs with a fall of 8 wickets. CF Development won by 2 wickets.
