The Powerade national torch relay made its first stop at Saint Thomas High School (STHS) in Lautoka yesterday.
Torch relay coordinator Onisimo Rokotuinasau said STHS was one of the 54 schools that was part of the torch relay journey to the lead-up of the 2023 Coca-Cola Games, which is on April 27-29 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
“Our presence here this afternoon signifies that the Coca-Cola Games is just around the corner, we have been travelling for the past five days,” he said.
“During the weekend we were at Malolo Island, then we visited Ratu Lalabalavu Memorial School.”
