The Nadeem Mohammed coached Nadroga football side will not rest on their laurels as they prepare to face Tailevu Naitasiri in the sixth round of the Digicel Premier League competition at the ANZ stadium in Suva on Sunday.
The Stallions are in high spirit after their 1-0 victory over Labasa last weekend. It was their first win this season.
Head coach Nadeem Mohammed said: “The win is history now. Going forward we don’t have to rest on our laurels. We have to play better in our game next.”
“This is another away game and it will be great if we can replicate our performance at the ANZ Stadium this Sunday,” he said.
The school teacher is urging Nadroga fans to gather in numbers at the ANZ Stadium to support - this is necessary for them to bring home the three points.
Mohammed added that the encounter is also a warm up match for them as they prepare for the 2022 Fiji FACT tournament which they are hosting at Lawaqa.
He added that the inclusion of former reps Archie Watkins and Kaminieli Tuilawaki is necessary as they are tasked to do the magic.
“We are all working together for the vanua o Nadroga Navosa.”
