Still Room For Improvement, Says Nadroga Coach

The Repeka Tove captained- Nadroga rugby side came from behind to beat Rewa 20-17 during round four of the ANZ Marama Championship at Ratu Navula College ground in Nadi today.

Nadroga trailed 10-5 at the breather, as Rewa took the lead in the 4^th minute with a try to winger Nanise Vucago. Nadroga full-back Tove, replied with a try before Rewa halfback Mere Biaikula scored their second try. All three conversions went wide.

In the second spell, Nadroga scored unconverted tries to first-five eight Alesi Kacilala, hooker Elenoa Kunavuli, and centre Siteri Qara while Rewa got a penalty try.

Nadroga coach Paula Kunabuli said they had made some changes in their game but they still need to do a lot more work.

“This is our second win, back-to-back,” he said.

“We need to improve on our lineout, defensive structure and how to keep possession. In this game the girls struggled to maintain the ball during the duration of the match.”
