The Ram Cleaning Services/ All Freight Logistics Suva football team is on track to defend the Digicel Fiji FACT title.

The Babs Khan-coached side is the first team to confirm their semifinal spot after a controversial 1-0 win over Security Systems Management Inc Tailevu/Naitasiri at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, on Friday.

Suva top Group B with wins over RC Manubhai Ba, Nasinu and Tailevu/Naitasiri.

Suva coach Khan was not carried away with the win indicating that they need to work on certain areas of their game.

Their final pool game against the Cambridge Farms Limited Nadroga side on Sunday will decide the hosts fate as they chase for the second spot in order to qualify. Nadroga has two draws from their matches against Tailevu/Naitasiri and Ba.

A win over Nasinu and Suva will boost their chances of qualifying. Also, in contention for the second spot is Tailevu/Naitasiri as they must beat Ba today to qualify. Nasinu is already out of the team. Ba is in the running as well as they can beat Tailevu/Naitasiri and Nasinu to finish second behind Suva.

In Group A, Baker’s Fresh Lautoka is at the top of the points table with six points. Closely behind them are All in One Builders Nadi with four points and 4R Electrical Labasa with three.

The Blues only need a draw against Glamada Investments Rewa today to cement their semifinal spot.It will not be easy as the Delta Tigers can turn things around and qualify. The Marika Rodu-coached side has two points but a win over the Blues could put them into second position with five points. Also, there’s an interesting battle between Nadi and Labasa for that second spot.

The Koromakawa Rentals & Tours Navua cannot be ruled out either despite the fact they have got a point. Navua has two games at hand. If they beat Labasa today and Lautoka tomorrow, then they could make it to the semifinal.

It's still an open pool and things could change from today.
