Suva Kaji Comp To Develop Children
The Ram Sami Suva Kaji rugby competition will not only develop young players but build their character as well, says Nabua Rugby coach, Solomoni Tabetabe. Clubs affiliated with the Suva Rugby Union fielded their Kaji team as the competition got underway at the Suva Grammar School ground yesterday. There were 20 clubs that participated in the two-day competition.

“This is a good time for these youngsters to play some rugby. It’s the school holidays and these kids don’t have anything to do at home so to come out and play rugby is good.
“Not only they develop their rugby, this is a time for them to build their connections through the sport.”
Tabetabe said most children came to know each other during the competition.
“The bond created from playing rugby is a lifetime one and these kids have the opportunity to have that relationship,” he added.
The competition continues today.
