Suva Prop On Standby For Flying Fijians

Promising Suva prop Livai Natave is on standby for the Vodafone Flying Fijians squad.

This was confirmed yesterday by Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor.

“Natave is not an official member of the Flying Fijians squad but he is there on standby,” O’Connor said of the 23-year-old.

Natave played for the Fijian Under-20 side at the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 Junior World Championships and for the Fijian Warriors at the 2019 World Rugby Pacific Challenge.

He was the first-choice Fijian U20 loosehead prop as he played alongside Tevita Ikanivere, Meli Tuni, Chris Minimbi, Vilive Miramira and Caleb Muntz who are members of the Swire Shpping Fijian Drua.
