Suva Rugby, Ram Sami Seal Sponsorship Deal
Ram Sami & Sons (Fiji) Limited continues their support for the Suva Rugby Union with a $50,000 boost for the 2022 season. The sponsorship caters for the five SRU teams participating in the Skipper Fiji Rugby Championship and the ANZ Marama Championship.

Ram Sami & Sons (Fiji) Limited continues their support for the Suva Rugby Union with a $50,000 boost for the 2022 season.
The sponsorship deal was sealed at the Suva Civic Auditorium on Thursday night.
The sponsorship caters for the five SRU teams participating in the Skipper Fiji Rugby Championship and the ANZ Marama Championship.
Suva Rugby executive Sekaia Ragata applauded the kind gesture which will be a boost as they work towards retaining the Skipper Fiji Rugby Championship title and add on the INKK Fiji Rugby Farebrother Trophy.
“We thank Ram Sami for coming on board again this year and financially sponsoring all our teams for 2022,” Ragata said.
“To the selected players, thank you for your commitment. We know you have put up your hand– you are so blessed, as this opportunity comes once. The time for sowing is over, now it’s time to deliver as there are lots of opportunities for you like securing overseas contracts and the possibility of joining the Fijian Drua.”
Ram Sami & Sons (Fiji) Limited director Prashneel Sami Goundar said: “We have learnt and realised that the highest level of commitment and sacrifice is needed to run a sporting organisation of this caliber. And we are extremely proud to be associated with Suva Rugby Union.”
The company will also be supplying eggs and chickens for the teams every week. The Ram Sami Suva team host Nadi at the ANZ Stadium in their season opener today. The match kicks off at 3pm.
