Swami Vivekananda College (SVC) is leading the Nadi Secondary Schools Zone competition at the International School grounds yesterday.
SVC won six gold medals in the boys division and seven in the girls.
The three-day event started on Tuesday with javelin and discus.
Track and field events continued yesterday, with all finals scheduled for today:
14 schools are participating, including new entrants Ratu Meli Saukuru Secondary School and Nawaka College.
Zone delegate Isikeli Toutou said the inclusion of the new schools have strengthened competition.
"We are including Magodro Secondary School this year. We thank the principal for allowing the students to participate," he said.
"As of today, SVC is leading with six golds in the boys' division and seven in the girls', making a total of 13 gold medals. The rest are closely contested in second and third places, with the finals to be held today:"
