Sydney-based boxer Puna Rasaubale arrived into the country last Saturday, indicating that he is ready to rumble against Fiji heavyweight champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh.
The 10-round heavyweight clash is the main bout of the South Pacific Boxing Promotions (SPBP) at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park on Friday night.
“All the talks are done,” Puna said.

“James Singh, I hope you’ve prepared well just like what you said.
“I hope you’ll come ready to fight on Friday night and let’s give the fans what they want.
“And there’ll be only one winner, we can shake hands after that and go back to our families.”
Puna called out to boxing fans to come out in big numbers and watch the fight.
“For me, Nadi is the home of my mother-in-law and I’ll put on my best fight to show my in-laws that I deserve their daughter,” he added.
Puna was accompanied by his trainer and Kaiviti Silktails rugby league club chief executive officer Stephen Driscoll.
He’ll be based in Lautoka and will be training at the Silktails gym.
In an earlier interview, Singh indicated that he is not going to settle for anything else but a win against Puna, who has been challenging him openly on social media.
The hard hitting Nadroga boxer has already knocked out former champion, Petero Qica, Jonasa Kavika of Navosa and his latest victim was former Fiji amateur boxing knockout king Semi Dauloloma.
Meanwhile, promoter Fred Chand said other overseas boxers have arrived in the weekend while King Davidson is to arrive tomorrow.
