Taranaki Bulls No.8, Sowakula Leaves on High Note
It was Sowakula’s final match after playing for the club for the past seven seasons. He leaves for France to play for Clermont in the Top 14 competition.

Four players of Fijian descent were part of the Taranaki Bulls rugby side that hoisted the New Zealand Provincial Championship (NPC) title on Saturday.
They were No.8 Pita Gus Sowakula, Kini Naholo, Jacob Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens and Vereniki Tikoisolomone.
The Bulls beat Hawkes Bay 22- 19 to clinch the NPC title.

Naholo and Ratumaitavuki- Kneepkens have signed on with Super Rugby clubs while Tikoisolomone is still unsigned.
