Serving the community is part of our daily work but we are happy to come out today and clean some of the classrooms as we have a responsibility to assist in such cases when we are requested.

The National Fire Authority men and women 7s teams were out yesterday at Draiba Primary School doing clean-up.
This is part of their team bonding exercise as they gear up for the 3rd Leg of the Super 7s Series and Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
Team manager Ifereimi Vesikula said they were happy to organize a team building exercise for both teams as they head into the 3rd Leg of the Super 7s Series this Friday and Saturday at Ganilau Park in Savusavu.
Vesikula said: “Serving the community is part of our daily work but we are happy to come out today and clean some of the classrooms as we have a responsibility to assist in such cases when we are requested.”
He added the players from both the men and women 7s teams cleaned a few classrooms, laid out carpets and also tidied up the school environment.
Coach Akuila Nasi thanked the Draiba Parents Association for giving them an opportunity to carry out a cleaning campaign as part of their team building exercise.
“The team building exercise will play a vital role as the players took a different approach rather than the usual field sessions throughout the week,”Nasi said.
The men’s 7s team will take part in the 3rd Leg of the Super 7s Series this week in Savusavu. Both the women’s and men’s sides will partake at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s in Suva, in a fortnight’s time.
