Moreton Launches Cricket For Good- Fiji Project

In thanking the partnership of Cricket Fiji and ChildFund Sport for Development, Moreton hopes that the project would make a great impact in addressing violence and gender issues in Fijian communities.

The Cricket for Good- Fiji project was launched on Monday at the Centre for Training and Appropriate Technology, Nadave by Tom Moreton, Second Secretary-Political of the Australian High Commission.

Moreton is also the focal point for Team Up, the development arm of the Australia High Commission that looks after sports.

In thanking the partnership of Cricket Fiji and ChildFund Sport for Development, Moreton hopes that the project would make a great impact in addressing violence and gender issues in Fijian communities.

The launching coincided with the first formal day of training for the Cricket for Good-Fiji coaches.

A release by the ChildFund Sport for Development stated a special thanks to Moreton, for attending and inspiring future coaches who are excited to make positive social change in Fiji through cricket.
