Top Swimmers For Today’s National Champs
Fiji Swimming will today hold its Age Group Nationals Championship at the Suva Olympic Pool, which serves as a qualification round to select the national team for the Honiara Pacific Games in Solomon Islands, later in the year.

Fiji Swimming will today hold its Age Group Nationals Championship at the Suva Olympic Pool, which serves as a qualification round to select the national team for the Honiara Pacific Games in Solomon Islands, later in the year.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Commonwealth Youth Games swimming coach and manageress Esita Malani said eight clubs would be competing this weekend.
“We have overseas swimmers coming over not only to represent Fiji but we also have a team from Tonga as well,” she said.
Malani, is also the head coach of the Orca Swim Club that would be participating.
“In terms of preparations for my club, I’ve 18 swimmers going to the nationals,” she said.
“We have about six swimmers coming back from the United States, New Zealand and Australia.
