The Triple N Zone will now be held on August 2.
This was confirmed yesterday by zone delegate Alivereti Tawake.
The meet was cancelled earlier as the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Finals, commonly known as the Coca-Cola Games date was not confirmed by the Ministry of Education.
So far, on Monday, 10 schools have confirmed its participation.
“If all schools are present, then we can go up to 18 participating schools at the zone,” Tawake said.
“Schools like Vunimono High School and Baulevu have not participated in the zone for some years."
“We awaited the confirmation from the ministry to lock in our date,” Tawake added.
The Coca- Games will be held on August 18-20 at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.
