Unbeaten Moce Team To Beat At Cricket Comp

The Easter Cup Championship en­ters the business end of the crick­et competition today.

The last pool games were played at Al­bert Park yesterday.

The Plate semifinals and Cup quarter­finals will be played today and the finals on Friday.

Cricket Fiji development manager Siti­veni Rokoro said teams will enter the knockout stages after the six days of the competition.

“Moce is the team to beat being the unbeaten one after six rounds,”Rokoro said.

“Teams like defending champ like Suva Warriors and CF Invitational will play in the Super Over to decide who is run­ner up to Moce in Pool One.

“Likewise the Super Over will decide standings in Pool Two.”

Only one over (six balls), three batsmen are used in the Super Over. The team which scores most runs wins.

Results: Suva Warriors beat Namu­ka by 56 runs, Moce beat Komo by 29 runs,Western Wingmen beat CF Invita­tion, Crusaders beat Kabara by 5 wick­ets, Ono-i-lau beat Oneata by 26 runs.
